I would like to say that I wished him well. But he was such a horrid Giant, and now we are paying him to play for someone else, I can’t bring myself to HONESTLY say I wished him well.

I understand when I hear a Sox fan curse Sandoval under their breath.

May he suck horribly, get released, catch on in the AL, and resurrect his career.
Or shine in AAA, Dodgers think they don't need him, trade him for cash and then suddenly need a quality reliever and kick themselves after he wins the ROY with the Detroit Tigers.

Boch be all like “nomnomnom” with all these former Giants.
Wonder when the Rangers announce Panda is signed to a minor league deal with a spring training invite. After all, he did hit well for a half a season in Mexico and is only 36 years old.

If this is the same Duffy then I really thought, before his bad injury that he would be something. Did so many small things well including base running and was sad he was traded but the FO at that time must have had an inkling that it was more serious to come back from. Would have been a fan favorite if he preformed like he did that season then onward. :noidea:

Injuries have affected his career. He put up decent numbers in Tampa in 2018 and in Chicago in 2021 (OPS+ close to what he did in SF in 2015) but has lost whole seasons in 2017 and 2020. Hope he makes the KC roster and has a good year there.

Before we shed too many tears for dear old Matt, keep in mind he has made a total of almost $8 mm in salary over his career, and at 32, stands to make a few mill more. He did ok.

Loved him when he was here, not that I don't now.
