Very intriguing. I'm a bit of nerd with this stuff. I find it fascinating to go back and do re-drafts, with novel ways to limit who gets picked.

Based on your rules, wouldn't Heyward not be available to be drafted until the #5 pick? The #4 pick should only be able to pick up anyone until the 13th actual pick.
You are correct. Swap Heyward and Moustakas.

I feel like you guys would really enjoy playing Strat - O - Matic baseball... yes?
Its been a long time but I've played it before. It was enjoyable but never enough for me to buy my own game. And I have quite a few board games.

I played with a friend when I was in jr high. We randomly picked 25 cards each, then I think we allowed ourselves to redraw 5 cards. Then we rolled 2d10 to determine a 1-100 game contract for each player and once that players contract was up, he became a FA and was blindly replaced with a new card. We had some other rules to constantly churn through the roster. It was actually quite fun. Iirc, we played a best of 21 season and we got through 3 or 4 seasons.

It looks like Pablo Sandoval was released by Olmecas de Tabasco of the Mexican League in January. He played in the Mexican League and Puerto Rican Winter League in 2022 before becoming a free agent.

Could we find a roster spot for a switch hitting reserve 3b/1b/C/DH/RP????

He'd be great at throwing rolled-up t-shirts into the crowd between innings.
