I thought so. The first line was able to generate a lot of pressure, and I thought Elias looked way more comfortable. Clarkson had probably his best game of the playoffs and the fourth line was solid. 5 on 5 we completely outplayed them.

Games like last night are keeping me dreaming I've thought we were going to fall off the cliff numerous times but we keep fighting and I think if we don't screw up against the Rags it's ours cause LA don't want none of us I dont give a damn how hot their goalie is we've beaten that team before (03 Ducks)

I agree I think our offense is the only one left that could beat the kings. Rangers type of game plays right into the kings.

Anybody catch the studio guys ripping into Torts for his press conference? I think it lasted 1:17, and he gave 1 word answers and acted like a jerk. They cut back to studio once it ended and immediately all 3 guys jumped all over him, saying his act is getting old, nobody is impressed and basically calling him an asshole without calling him an asshole. They were pissed.

They've been pissed for a while. He is being a bit of a tool.

Defense too... our forechecking is the best in the playoffs....

I am scared that the kings are beating Smith very easy though.

Not to get ahead of ourselves here, but Smith has let in some softies and he's getting no help in his own end.

Rangers did look tired. Our rest helped and their last 7 game series has beaten them down. I wish there wasn't a 2 day break before the next game.

And I agree with Cup. The Devils are the only team who have the offense to compete with the Kings. The Kings are a rather big team as well and the Devils speed could be a bonus if we make it that far.

The Kings scare me a bit though. They remind me of the Flyers from 2 years ago. Much better than where they are seeded. Good offense and defense but they happen to have a good goalie as well which is what the Flyers lacked. The other scary thing is that they are about to take out the 3 seed after taking out the top 2 seeds. They are for real.

People, we need to start worrying about the remaining 5 games a bit more in THIS series.

It all ties together. The league has to be fair in officiating this series and not try and get the Final they want. While I wouldn't call this series one-sided, the Devils have been on the wrong end of bad calls more than the Rangers have thus far. If the Devils can move on, they would give the Kings a better series than the Rangers could. Just hoping the league stays out of our way.

Kings don't like to lose this post-season. they tried it once & didn't like it.

Tort is a perfect coach for the Rags. He whines & cry's, blames others & has zero respect. A perfect fit.
