I can see Teodo but no need to roster Rocker who can be added in the spring when ready to start in MLB

i can also see a number of others being released so that we can bring up Crim and others but if just because we put someone on the 40-man roster now doesn't mean bring them up

They nost likely don't want Rocker tying up a 40-man spot until 2025.

It is a little too early for Teodo. He needs to continue starting for now. He hasn't even pitched at AAA so he needs more seasoning. He may get a cup of coffee up here in the last couple of weeks.

Okay, here is another fun exercise. Jamey Newberg wrote this earlier comparing another former Rangers pitcher to 2024 Alejandro Rosario. I took the pitchers name out and replaced it with "he." Any guesses on who the other pitcher was?

In his first full season in the minors, he pitched at both Class-A levels and finished the year in Double-A, just as Rosario is doing in his. He posted a 2.27 ERA across the three levels, limiting hitters to a .209/.266/.297 (.563 OPS) slash line and just three home runs allowed. Rosario sits at 2.24, with an opposing line of .207/.243/.273 (.515 OPS). Two hitters have taken him deep.
