No need to consider "what if". Watson wasn't traded before the news came out and it's anyone guess as how things would of played out if they had.

The league can negate the trade. Likely they would if it was found out the guy has a problem after the trade was agreed on.
If the league already signed off on it, that is another story.

At this point he may go for pennies on the dollar and he may not play until 2022. He'd be OK then as a serviceable backup. He could surprise us, too.

2021 hes done,2022 might serve a game or two suspension. Once he gets reinstated ,,probably have a "Im sorry im a sex addict and I was raised better then to do the things I was accused of" press conference with the Texans or new?team. I dont think he will see jail cell BUT never know.

OK then if no cell time, he'll still be a top QB in the league.

He'd be smart to get this whole thing done with ASAP and move past it. If it lingers for months on end he's burning time off of his career.

Maybe it's financial agreements with the accusers and a plea with the DA, or force it into court and make them prove their case.

Yes he is gonna still play in league but not in 2021. He is in tough spot either fight it or admit it.Either way he has loss endorsements,sterling reputation.He needs a strong strategy.
