I like Richard Sherman but I do enjoy seeing him get tested and beat like he did today. Her's still a great corner but maybe his head will shrink a little bit now.

Asking Dilfer how hard it is to repeat as champion (because he won one) is useless, since he left th eteam he won it with to play for someone else (Seattle). so he never defended the title.

Yeah, he gave up a few catches, but he was never "beat", and he defended a few passes as well as made it difficult on a few others.

What? Denver threw to the left side the entire second half (including their TD drive)? If Seattle just pulls their head out of their ass and assigns both Thomas/Chancellor to Maxwell's side, they should shut out the entire league.

He got beat a few times on slant routes while covering Sanders in addition to a few other throws as well. Now getting beat for him isn't like getting beat for a lot of guys since he is so good but it's nice to see he isn't as invincible as quite a few teams(like GB in the opener.)think he is and wont even test him.

Your definition of "beat" is different than mine. Here's what beat looks like :p :

I'm not saying he got burned all day but Denver showed just like SD last week that it's ok to throw at Richard Sherman he's not untouchable. He's great but not perfect.

Got beat to send to OT. Amazing throw and catch of course but Sherm breaks that up and it's game over.

"We're frustrated by the mistakes, it shouldn't have been that close." Richard Sherman.

I agree with the quote but the wrong person said it. Defense was incredible today, even despite giving up the tying TD. It was the offense that damn near blew this one. They were god awful in the second half. Essentially gave Denver 9 points and couldn't muster any scoring possession that would have salted the game. They made up for it in the OT. Well Russell did anyway as he basically took the Seahawks down the field single handed, but it was still a pitiful second half performance on offense.

Talib got beat I'm not arguing that but of course he hasn't proclaimed to be the best corner in the game.

And if you'll look closely the catch Sherman gave up on that 2 point conversion isn't pretty either.

Who cares about individual match-ups. It was a much bigger game to Seattle than it was to Denver and Seattle got it. Sherman played fine like everybody else did. They gave up 7 on a short field and another 7 when they decided to play a stupid soft prevent to close out regulation.

One of those Hawks was easily 40 pounds and wingspan i would say 6 feet.

Sherman did not get beat. He was there pretty much on every catch on him. The Receivers made great catches with Sherman all over them. Being beat is giving up long plays and TD like PP. Giving up contested receptions is not being beat. The 2 point conv was on a zone so that is meh also.

I was not happy with how the Hawks played today. They were making stupid mistakes and "unforced" errors. The Defense has some issues and the bye week couldn't have came at a better time. The Hawks Defense has some problems to fix and i totally expect it to be sorted out after the Bye week. One thing also, this team is missing Clemons. I know a lot of you were hard on him last season ignoring the fact he was not 100% healthy but when you watch the game tapes of last season, He was putting pressure on the QB all the time. All the time. Even in the superbowl he was all over Peyton hitting him as he threw the ball.
