Exactly. The Brady Pats went through a similar situation season after season...You have to keep drafting well. That's really the big thing.

Yup...Chefs get the second half kick, right?

Gay And Bolton were good pickups. I'd focus on another lb or two, another safety, and a number two receiver...You have to keep drafting well. That's really the big thing.
Three good online picks last draft and Bolton. Uh huh...But the Chiefs haven't been doing that really, and sacrificing a lot of capital. Seattle did the same thing while handing out massive contracts, and I believe that was their downfall. It'll be interesting to see what the Chiefs do in the offseason.
Did NE ever give Brady a $1/2 billion contract?Exactly. The Brady Pats went through a similar situation season after season...

Well Lock has done a good impression of Taysom Hill
I know Brown was a trade, bro. But thanks. Bolton is a rookie. Best is yet to come ..Trey Smith has been okay. Brown Jr. was a trade/non drafted Chiefs player. Humphrey has been admittedly very good. Not sure where you are getting 3 players.
Bolton is not that good... and before you argue or flip the fuck out, I routinely say Brooks is a tackling machine for Seattle but one of the worst coverage linebackers in the league. Bolton is not anywhere close to an impact player and at this point not someone you can count as a 'hit'. It's a living body out there for now.
Good point...Did NE ever give Brady a $1/2 billion contract?
Taysom never played in Denver. Looks more like Tebow!
Go Broncos!

Bolton is a situational piece and that's fine for a rd2 pick.Trey Smith has been okay. Brown Jr. was a trade/non drafted Chiefs player. Humphrey has been admittedly very good. Not sure where you are getting 3 players.

No need for me to "flip out". I'll judge the full body of work...
Nah, Tebow could actually throw the ball. Trust me, Lock will mess this up.Lock trying to do his best Tebow impersonation today…
I like it!
We'll see like I said. Will agree that the brain trust has to do their job...Well just sayin, Seattle had a # of lackluster drafts and major trades after Wilson's glory years... and it fell apart. There was of course some bright stars (Clark who of course the Chiefs overpaid for), Lockett, Griffen, etc. but it was far and few between. Seattle's free agent splashes were VERY underwhelming and overpaid... and that took up a TON of cap along with them overpaying various current roster members.
It all kind of fell apart. My point was I SEE the Chiefs going that route.
As a die hard fan of my team, I'm hoping it doesn't on your behalf as a die hard Chiefs fan as it's a rough ride...

Now this I agree with. CEH has been nearly brittle, and Hardman is beyond inconsistent...Bolton is a situational piece and that's fine for a rd2 pick.
Bigger issue was taking CEH and Hardman.
Chiefs flipping their oline in a year was great, though. They need to have that same type of focus with their secondary
