I figured out a while back that DC will give his stamp of approval on any mock as long as you have Booker and or Caroo in there.

Remember the last two players we attempted to move way up for? Calvin Johnson and Patrick Willis in the same draft. Both were great and retired earlier then expected.

gladly pay that for Wentz SS .. You some times need to take a chance. This kid is gifted and time tested and showed solid in Senior bowl .. got to like that ..

He is also more athletic than OZ..

Saw something the other day on a trade up for him and somebody made the comment "not like the Broncos hae done much with their 2nd round picks anyway so might as well trade them."

Also to me it depends how far we are talking of trading up. The Falcons traded up from 27 to 6. They gave up a 2 late 1st round picks, a late 2nd round pick, and 2 4th round picks. While it was somewhat costly I still think that wasn't too bad. If it meant us having a QB locked in for the next 5 years at a very discounted rate I would take it.

Hmnn....My memory sucks but I didn't think getting Elway cost Denver that much. Refresh my memory.
