There is no way we spend a first round pick on a S IMO! Too early. A need but not a first round need.

I know ...lol I love his play all the same ..some one spread a roomer

Agree. I would have liked to see the kid stay one more year, but his production is off the charts. Just dunno about him declaring @TDs3nOut I also have an interview up with Houston S Adrian McDonald.

Cool. I will also read that one if you post the link. I definitely think that he has a chance to play in the league.

Ayers decision to declare early reminds of Deontay Greenberry having done the same thing the previous season. Can't really criticize those youngsters for wanting to get paid, but I think it likely would have served their long-term interests to stay in school and polish their skills.

Since QB height has been mentioned, I wonder if anyone else besides me has questioned whether Oz might actually be too tall. He is clearly pretty agile for a guy as tall as he is, but he still looks a little clumsy to me.
Better get used to it TD. Man is getting bigger, taller, stronger every yr. I think two or 3 of the coveted qbs in this draft are 6`5 or taller. In 50 yrs qb`s like Cam are going to be the norm unless this gradual progression somehow gets reversed. But I doubt it. :)

I've been trying to get to like UCLA DL Kenny Clark as I see him as a strong possibility for us at #31 if we do lose Malik bu so far just haven't been able to get excited about him.

I like Taylor Decker as a RT but not a LT... So would make sense with him if we re-do Clady.

The tempting thing is... With Wade Phillips would be interesting to find a way to get Stew, ward and Thompson all on field at same time. using Ward much like a linebacker.

I just did a simulated mock for fun. I usually don't do these but was bored today. Needless to say the board they use needs to be updated. This would be way too good.

Round 1- Jaylen Smith, LB, Notre Dame
Round 2- Vernon Butler, DL, Louisiana Tech
Round 3- Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
Round 3- Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers
Round 4- Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah
Round 5- Cyrus Jones, CB/Return man, Alabama
Round 6- Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
Round 7- Brandon Allen, QB, Arkansas
Round 7- Javon Hargrave, DL, South Carolina State
Round 7- Jordan Walsh, OG, Iowa

Don't get excited this will never happen. Way too good of value. Im gonna try the CBS board and see if that board is anymore accurate.

7. Deon Bush, S, Miami

Jaylon Smith was too good to pass up in both... I am begining to think if we dont go OL first round we better grab someone in FA, but a lot of C's/OG's I like in the mid rounds at those positions.

Funny that i got Cyrus Jones in both. Too good to pass. CB was not a target of mine.

My last mock I passed on S longer then I would like, but it worked out well because I got two guys in rd 7 that I think have Round 5 value.

Yup, that is Kenneth!

It was between he and Jordan Howard there for me. I like Dixon slightly more for our system. He is more a of a slasher, like both a lot.

It's true but think about it. 6' 2 was big 50 yrs ago for Qb's. Their becoming more athletic more and more to go along with their height. Who knows, if earth is still around in another 200 years, giants might roam the earth again. The qb for the Broncos might be 7'5 and a running threat! :)

I guess his season was not all that ..

Career: Ran for a school record 4,480 yards and 72 touchdowns on 801 attempts in 47 games played and caught 88 passes for 972 yards and 15 touchdowns as he finished second in NCAA history in overall touchdowns scored (87) behind Keenan Reynolds (Navy, 2012-15) and tied the NCAA record with 38 games played with a touchdown scored … His 72 rushing touchdowns ranks tied for fourth in NCAA history with Ricky Williams (Texas, 1995-98), his 24 games played scoring two or more touchdowns ranks second in NCAA history behind the record of 25 set by Travis Prentice (Miami Ohio, 1996-99) and Montee Ball (Wisconsin, 2009-12), his 14 games played scoring three or more touchdowns ranks second in NCAA history behind record of 16 set by Keenan Reynolds (Navy, 2012-15) and his 522 points scored ranks second in NCAA history behind the record of 530 scored by Kennan Reynolds (Navy, 2012-15).

Still not a bad carrier

No way we get Killebrew in the 4th! We don't have a fourth I thought. :)
