I don't know. He had that one drive during the actual game, but from what I gathered in the practices, he was having a lot of trouble reading the D and going through his progressions. It seems like a lot of people agreed that the only QB who really helped his stock was Carson Wentz. Not that the other guys hurt theirs any, but they didn't jump off the page. I see Dak as a 3rd or 4th round pick who will need a few years to pick things up and develop. I also don't like his height. I think they list him at 6'2", which means he could only be 6' even. We'll see when they weigh in at the combine, though.
Oh I agree that Dak should be a fourth or even later Fem but the way qbs are overvalued, coveted, etc, many go much earlier than they should. You also see a decent portion that their tape and stats reflect bad( like Hackenburg but had terrible O line) and they end up 6th rd picks and mvps 2 yrs later. :). Personally after Wentz, I wouldn't touch any of the rest of them till third or later if I had the luxury.

That would take a significant move up...

That's what I was thinking. I guess you do your homework, though. This time 2 years ago, we'd have said the same thing about Teddy Bridgewater and he ended up falling to #32. So, you never know.

Prescott is closer to 6-4 than 6-0. He is a big, strong, athletic kid.

Ok... Most of the time when you see a QB listed at 6'2", he's about 6'. I feel a little better about him.

I live in wretched is SEC country. Have seen Prescott play a fair amount. I am sure that he is at least 6-2. Would not mind at all if we drafted him. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he were a good fit in what Kubiak wants to run.

Since QB height has been mentioned, I wonder if anyone else besides me has questioned whether Oz might actually be too tall. He is clearly pretty agile for a guy as tall as he is, but he still looks a little clumsy to me.

I haven't seen his name mentioned much here on the forum, but does anyone have any thoughts on Alex Collins ?

A lot of nice runs, lots of power and quickness .. Like CJ, he is always going forward, dragging and pulling defenders ... At 5:48, a thing of beauty

I was about to ask others opinions on him. The little I saw left something to be desired in pass pro but the guy always finds a couple extra yards and looks pretty good

I've already gave my opnion of Alex Collins a few times but here it is again. He is a nice runner. Don't like him as much as I like Booker or Jordan Howard. But he is a workhorse. Not great on the receiving end. I don't think he is a "special" back but he is a "good" back... Could be a good value pick. I wouldn't spend too early of a pick on him though.

I have to tell you DC - You getting more interesting interviews than the average bear. I believe you will one day be fully compensated and then some - for your self trained skills in scouting and interviewing.

Thanks @Mingo

Just trying to build my resume to get my break thought.

I was recently named Director of Player Personnel for the indoor football team. The Cedar Rapids Titans. same indoor team that BJ Lowery was on in which we (Broncos) signed him this offseason. So that is a start.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, SpringStein. Excellent questions asked by @Draft Crazy. I really love Demarcus Ayers, though I think he might have done himself a disservice by declaring himself eligible after his junior year. His answer to DC's question about that, however, certainly makes sense. Certainly wish nothing but the best for Ayers going forward.

Agree. I would have liked to see the kid stay one more year, but his production is off the charts. Just dunno about him declaring @TDs3nOut I also have an interview up with Houston S Adrian McDonald.
