Whoever gets Brady, loses Free Agency.

There's just no getting around it. He isn't making teams better at this point. If he was he'd be playing for NE.

Congrats Pats fans, you're gonna love Ryan Fitzpatrick.

That's pretty scary. He came out of it OK, thankfully.
yeah, and i will never forget the Dr saying that on WBZ TV post game. "the hit on drew was the same impact as hitting a brick wall at 30 mph with no seat belt".

he had internal bleeding.

Weird off topic question but did Trudeau put is under a state of emergency?

I have only been up since 9:30(41 minutes ago)
No not officially. He put stricter regulations in for flights, foreigners can't come to Canada (even Americans ) and no more than 50 ppl. Who knows.....in a couple days I'm sure he will change it again.

Man has too much time on his hands home pretending to self isolate.

I know what it is like having experienced Joe Montana and eventually Bill Walsh leaving. There is a bit of sadness. Will be a weird feeling not seeing him under center next year. The same thing will happen when Belicheck retires. 20 years is a long time. There are young fans out there that know nothing but these two.

I don't see no Steve Young on that bench for New England though!

I know the Pat's fans love this guy but I think it is best for the team. Him parting ways before it got into a green bay/Favre situation was the way to go. Tom dont want his fans to hate him like some GB fans did with favre.

Part of me wants him to get another superbowl win or two just to stick it to NE. Part of me wants NE to win a few more without him to stick it to tom.
Lol
I agree, but IMO Tom should have finished his career with the Pat's. I do hope he joins a good team, as he needs a good running game and a good O-line. Some good receivers wouldn't hurt either.

Nah, most of us assume that New Englanders haven't actually seen the Patriots be terrible so they have an unreasonable amount of confidence.

Yes, that is true. I was thinking about it more from a sentimental standpoint. Those two (Brady and Belicheck) have been around a long time.

I agree. I think that was the best option. There is always a period of adjustment going to a new team and he doesn't have alot of time left.

my earliest memories:

a rainy day at age 8 in old sulivan stadium, watching the pats get mauled by the giants. rod rusts tenure in 1990 beginning with a tough OT loss to miami, a win at indy, and 1-1- hope...til they lost 14 straight to end the year. i remember them yanking marc wilson out of insurance sales to be the starting QB. i remember tommy hodsons overly hairy forearms.
i remember blackouts, and listening on the radio as me and the neighborhood kids replayed each play.

so the past 20 years were a lot of fun for me.

If Brady goes to Miami... That would be such a spiteful move. He's not going to be able to carry that team, nor would the Dolphins suddenly become a contender. That would simply look like a middle finger to the Pats.
