(CNN) -- New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick said he had no knowledge about allegedly under-inflated footballs at last Sunday's AFC championship game until he came in to work Monday morning. He said he's learned more about the football inflation process in three days than he has known or talked about in his 40 years in the league.

Well that's what Sean Payton said about bountygate too. But Goodeell said in his ruling that if Peyton didn't know he ought to of known. Then he suspended him for a year.


According to Peter King, Goodell is already pissed with BB and felt "deceived" over broken promises that BB made after the spygate ordeal. I think even if BB didn't know about the deflated balls it may not matter to Goodell at this point. The punishment could be very stiff. Of course if BB wins the SB he could just say Fuck it and retire and avoid personal punishment altogether.
