If he's innocent, why not just come out and tell it like it is on monday? or Tuesday? Why wait until Thursday? unless you need time to "figure out" what you're going to say?

No matter how this issue ends up, it is horrible for the Pats image and the game in general. As a fan, I feel cheated, and am disappointed because of the shadow this will cast over the Super Bowl, what could have been a great, rise from the ashes type, year (after the KC game) the team is once again stuck in a quagmire of accusations and finger pointing. The only question that comes to mind is: WHY, WHY. WHY??? The stink of this will not go away : (
