When I was maybe 12-13 or so, the Pistons had quickly went to shit.

There was a game when Joe Dumars won “Dunk of the Night”. It was a layup, but his fingers may have brushed against the rim or backboard. Never will forget.

He was like five years ahead of Richardson at Saginaw High. Both were unbelievable.

If I think about it I can remember a handful of Carters dunks. Or Wilkins. But for me personally I dont even have to think about Shaq and itinstantly comes to mind when he not just broke the backboard, but he tore the whole mother effing thing down. I remember like a hour plus delay in Phoenix his rookie year. Then like 2 weeks later he did it in New Jersey.

But even besides Shaq, if I just hear the word Dunk, or even the word basketball that Jordan logo type dunk just comes to my mind. Every one of you reading this right now can already see Jordan one handed, legs spread, tongue hanging out and I didn't even have to say nothing.

Whether there's better dunkers is maybe a debate. Maybe. But there's nobody more associated with dunking than "Air" Jordan.
