Lol. The 60s NFL champion Packers lost to the college all stars after they won the title but they'd definitely beat a NFL team now lololololol
nice job...you get more stupid by the post
The Packers didn't play any starters and very few second team guys. Pretty much rookie and 1st year players against the best college seniors and yet you trump it up anyways

If you think the 60s Packers would beat any NFL team from 2019 you're dreaming . They'd be on their 3rd stringers by halftime as the other guys would be freaking dead

Average size of the 62 Packers OL was 245 lbs. They'd totally dominate current DLs!! Lol

13 NFL Championships for the Packers and zero for the Falcons. I believe you're just jealous of their success.

Ok? Doesn't make those Packers less dominant for their era. Otherwise we're hopelessly going to be obsessed with the past 20 years of football or so.

I think the 13 Seahawks should be in the top 10, that D was the only defense since the 85 Chicago Bears to lead the league in points allowed, yards allowed and takeaways... They also dominated the best offense in NFL history statistically in the Super Bowl... I think they’re at least top 10 worthy...

Yeah, but it's not like the other teams weren't great. Just about every other team was considered a lock for the SB by week 8 (besides the 94 49ers, there was the big question of whether or not they could get by Dallas). Seahawks were a pretty big underdog going into the SB. I think that defense stacks up with any other defense but there's definitely 10 other teams that had better years.

nope...if those great HOF'er played today, they wouldn't be 245, they would be average size HOF'er kicking ass.

you're in the short line again on this topic. perhaps it's just you and your totally uninformed opinion again.
BUT HEY....like some others on this board, stand strong and point that finger at everyone else for not agreeing with you.

Definitely great teams on that list, As far as the underdog, that’s why we play the games! I hear what you’re saying though...

If you're just ranking the best teams, I'd put the 07 Patriots near the top. No, they didn't win the Super Bowl, but that was probably the best team I've ever seen.

I agree, I think sometimes we get caught up in judging everything by winning it all, when in reality sometimes the lesser team can pull off an upset win, that’s football, upsets happen because it’s not a series but one and done every playoff game ...

Once again . Most dominant of an era doesn't mean best . Best means best . As in who would win if 2 teams played best . Not the tallest midget best

Your argument is beyond idiotic. If those two teams could magically face each other, they would be doing so with the same medicinal/nutritional/training advancements of the eras you fictionally decide as to when they played....ie….they play in today's era, well those teams from decades ago are as big/fast/strong and have every other advancement in todays game at their disposal.

Likewise.....they aren't gonna put every player on every team in the HOF from todays game simply because they are physically superior to even the HOF players of 30+ years ago.

The 2007 Patriots lost to Eli Manning in the Super Bowl and you think they should be rated higher?

Oh, you're new to football? Well, as you watch more games, you'll realize why it's called "a game of inches" and why your comment is dumb.

It's really interesting how many people will tell you the 1968 Jets > 1969 Chiefs and that Joe Namath > Len Dawson. All I am gonna say about this one.
That was actually Len Dawson's worst year IIRC. I think he was injured for most of the season and the teams elite defense carried them to the playoffs with their third string QB.

I'd imagine the team would be better remembered by people if they were somehow able to pair prime Dawson with that prime defense but ultimately when it comes to these old teams we're mostly talking about which team had the best defense.
