What about a list of the worst teams in NFL history?

# 1 the 2017 Cleveland Browns (led by statistically the worst HC in history Hue Jackson: 3-36-1)

# 2 the 2008 Detroit Lions who went 0-16

# 3 the 2016 Cleveland Browns / 1-15 / surprislingly led by Hue Jackson

# 4 the '76 Tampa Bay Bucs / 0-14

# 5 the '77 Tampa Bay Bucs /2-12 / lost a record 20-something games in a row, too lazy to look it up

There are 8-8 teams in the league right now who would beat some of those too 10 teams by 3 TDs. Not having any team from the last 20 years in the top 10 is laughable . Guys are bigger , stronger , faster now
Guys are also more injury prone.

If you're just ranking the best teams, I'd put the 07 Patriots near the top. No, they didn't win the Super Bowl, but that was probably the best team I've ever seen.
They lost to the Giants led by Eli Manning in the Super Bowl.

Call me the next time a team pitches back-to-back shutouts in the playoffs.

Footballoutsiders Regular Season DVOA of NFL Champions. Numbers are Overall, Offense, Defense (with lower numbers being better), S/T):

1 WAS 1991 56.9% 27.2% -21.1% 8.6%
2 GB 1962 47.9% 21.4% -20.7% 5.8%
3 GB 1961 46.0% 27.6% -11.6% 6.8%
4 CHI 1985 45.3% 12.5% -26.8% 6.0%
5 GB 1996 41.9% 15.2% -19.3% 7.4%
6 SEA 2013 40.0% 9.4% -25.8% 4.8%
7 MIA 1973 38.4% 19.5% -15.6% 3.3%
8 KC 1969 37.6% 7.3% -25.6% 4.6%
9 CLE1 1950 37.5% 14.9% -14.9% 7.7%
10 DAL 1971 36.3% 23.3% -11.3% 1.7%

They do mention that the Bears demolishing teams in the playoffs isn't factored in here so there is a good argument with their model for them being #1 overall. There aren't any Steelers or Niners teams on this list, though, so its definitely a weird list but it does seem to catch teams from different eras more than the one mentioned in this thread.

You're just butthurt because the Patriots didn't qualify.

Wrong again I can care less. I think Pitt Dallas and SF should dominate list, 85 Bears of course. I'm happy with the 6 Vincenzo Lombardi's in Foxborough. Pats have the GOAT but never great supporting casts like those teams

If you didn't care then you wouldn't have said the list sucks.

It sucks because your heroes weren't good enough to make the list.

Let me type this slowly so that you can understand, as I already quoted, I made no mention of Pats. Pitt, Dallas, SF and 85 Bears should dominate

The 85 Bears and the 78 Steelers should but none of the Niners or Cowboys teams should qualify.

2007 Patriots are (#17)?

And the 1968 Jets (16) > 2004 Patriots (29) ?

:puzzled:

Call me a homer, but this guy seems like a Patriot hater.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
