in his career he has 452 hits in 8 seasons, 170 of those are homers and 189 are singles. his attitude he is there to do nothing but hit homers

Yeah, he has so much power he needs to swing for line drives and contact.
He would probably hit the same amount of home runs too while also reducing strikeouts..

good point i forgot the 991 strikeouts in those 8 seasons (that's 1 short of averaging 124 SO's a season)

Agree. We will in short time be rid of Miller and Calhoun without involving Gallo. I have to believe our FO is better than this.

The angst is ridiculous. It is almost on a level of being superstitious that he will bring bad luck to the extent of plagues and death.

Not wanting him back is understandable, but it is well beyond that to some.
