2 more total TDs, 1 fewer INT in 2017. Also didn't have close to that 2014 supporting cast -

NFL record-breaking WR, arguably top WR in the NFL
Leading rusher in the NFL 2 of the last 3 years
1st round pick/Top rated rookie LT in 2016
Two more 2nd round draft picks at WR

He played 12 games in 2014. He played 14 games in 2017.

It isn’t even remotely close what his best year was. He averaged almost a full yard more per pass attempt and a full yard more rush attempt in 2014. There is a reason his QBR is 10 points lower in 2017 than it was in 2014.

Supporting cast makes that a hell of a lot easier.

Point is, he was a dud in 2015 and 2016, then Day brought him back up as soon as he took over as the QBs coach.

Take a look at your own reason for 2014’s success. In 2017, you had WRs who had been in the program multiple years. You had a tandem at RB who rushed for 2,000 yards and...........a new offensive coordinator.

Are you trying to make a point? Or is this your normal trolling?

Just trying to help you understand why people view you as a homer.

Any new hire, new recruit, new coach, etc is the best.

You just change the names as you go:

2017 — it was the Kevin Wilson who turned Barrett and the offense around. Never a mention of Ryan Day from you.

2019 — it is now Ryan Day who is responsible for 2017 JT Barrett, because he was named HC and it fits your narrative.

Are you actually trying to call me out for something I speculated on 2 years ago? Are you saying you're so dense as to think Wilson was the one who did all the work the last two years, yet it was Day who's received promotions 3 years in a row?

Any new hire, new recruit, new coach, etc is the best. -- This is unfounded and pure trolling and you know it.

Do you even understand this hilarious irony of you calling anyone a homer?

Remember when you said Jimmy Jam helped the Raiders beat the Bucs in the Super Bowl? Except T.B. clobbered Oakland in the S.B. that year. Or when you claimed Jimmy Jam was a 1st team All American in '86? Which would have made '86 Heisman winner Vinny Testaverde the only winner of that award not on the 1st team. And aren't you the meeeechegan fan that once wished cancer on someones kid?

If you were only speculating — I’d agree. You are stating them as fact.

Just like you just did with Ryan Day as being the guy responsible for Barrett’s success.

Just like you did when you said it was Kevin Wilson back in 2017 for Barrett’s success.

I am guessing you don’t even realize you do it. Just like you probably don’t realize, you blame the position coaches if a player on OSU struggles.

Except I didn't. Before the season (hence, speculation) I said I expected the passing offense to improve, and it did. Clearly, based on the events that have transpired since then, it was more because of Day.

Wilson went from an offensive genius to a complete afterthought in the span of less than two years according to @Across The Field

Haskins went from the greatest QB talent to ever be recruited by Ohio State to easily improved upon with Martell, now Fields is better than both of them.

Yet he doesn’t understand why he was listed as one of the biggest homers on the site.

Maybe he was only speculating.:L

So you're joining in on the lies now? Disappointing.

They are only lies in your own head. Do you think you were randomly selected as one of the biggest homers on the board? I don’t even think you realize half the stuff you say.

Show me where I said after the 2017 season that Barrett's improvement was because of Wilson.

Show me where I said Haskins would be "easily improved upon with Martell".

Don't do your normal beating around the bush trolling. Show me where I actually said these exact things.

Yes — everyone is lying. You were randomly chosen as one of the biggest homers and you always give your unbiased opinion of everything OSU.
