Senior year. Don't really care. It's people paying for recruits to come to the school to start with that gets my attention and is what I consider to be cheating.

“There was a point where we had no food, no money, so I called my coach and I said, ‘Coach, we don’t have no food. We don’t know money. We’re hungry. Either you give us some food or I’m gonna go do something stupid.’ He came down and be brought like 50 tacos for like four or five of us. Which is an NCAA violation. But then, the next day I walk up to the facility and I see my coach pull up in a brand new Lexus. Beautiful.”

I'm confused....UT doesn't feed their players?

Never thought of it like that, but I agree with you

Are we to the point where its not so much 'who is cheating' but 'who is good at not getting caught?'

Does speeding, not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, or running a red light make someone a criminal?

It's against the rules, but I can't really consider it cheating.

yeah I have said the same thing. I have no problem with the hundred dollar handshakes or some free food. I didn't have a problem with Bush as he was already at USC. I do have a problem with Auburn buying scam.

They are learning not to have anything paper trail. I wish Tressel was that smart a couple years ago.

They might not have paid Foster to come to Tennessee but what if he knew he was going to be getting paid when he was at school? Or, what if when he was at Tennessee he told recruits that they get paid on the side? It doesn't help their current team, but it's illegal.

Regardless, it's illegal and Tennessee was caught and should be penalized for it like every other school that has been caught.

Well, I mean thats just it: everyone knows student athletes get perks. Football is a massive business so those perks are going to get stupid. We had Penn St keep a child molester around for the benefit of their program. You don't think they aren't also breaking much less egregious rules for the benefit of the program?
