both OSU and UGA have played one current top 25 team. OSU lost to theirs. Period. You go to the B1G champ and play an average Whiskey team. UGA will play #2 in ATL
BS.

GAs schedule is s fucking joke. no ranked teams. only one will be in the CCG. (1) the entire season.

OSU has played 2, and will play 2 more the next two weeks, then one more in the CCG. will be 5 total.

1 - you are using results from 2 years ago.
2 - you are switching from looking at one specific team, and jumping to the entire conference. I was comparing GA with OSU.

and 3 - ever heard of SEC bias in the rankings?? Its very real. please don't try to downplay this. OSU is blatantly screwed over all the time in the rankings. OSU fell 3 separate times in the rankings despite winning handily this year. bama loses to an unranked team, and fell 1/2 the degree most other teams would have. If bama wins a close game, the sports pundits are like" they won a hard fought battle - good teams find a way to win".......... :rolleyes2::mad2::puke:
Maybe the "SEC bias" is due to the fact that the SEC is clearly the best conference and it isn't really a "bias" at all, just rather being legit.

Ummm LSU was ranked early in the season. Until they played UCLA. That’s just one example there are plenty more.

There's also plenty more cases over the last 15 years that prove the SEC conference really was the best one. If you're just trying to say that because they have made mistakes here and there mean the SEC isn't legit then that's just silly. If I remember correctly Indiana (Big Ten), Iowa State, Texas (Big 12), Clemson, North Carolina, Miami (ACC), USC & Washington (Pac-12) were ranked in the preseason too. So I guess every P5 conference is overrated according to that logic.

I wouldn't say this year........... not sure what you are basing that on.

Georgia, absolutely.

This article is kinda fun. It has more SEC storylines by far. With a bunch of Texas.

Auburn and Arkansas are in the CFP, so if you want to count Purdue, shouldn’t they count those?
Auburn is going to drop out, and Arkansas is at 25....... come tomorrow night.

There are so many upsets across the board this year - this season is shaping up to be like none other the past 20 years with the number of upsets...... I'm seeing its nearly impossible for any team to have a strong SOS/SOR......

I have to laugh a little at Indiana this year. They were talked up so much preseason.......... but who do you blame?? The team for sucking so bad they are currently ranked in the #100 range or the "experts" who actually thought they were a contender?

And yet, I still have not been able to find a strength of schedule ranking that shows Ohio St having played a tougher schedule so far. Weird.

Isn't it funny how he mentions the OSU opponents at their peak ranking, whether that's when they played them or not. But Georgia playing three top-11 teams at the time they played and another at #18 doesn't count. I understand the rankings at the time they play isn't always the fairest, but only counting them where they ended up ranked isn't the fairest either. It's somewhere in-between. But either way he has to be consistent. Either count both team's schedule at the time they played the opponents or both team's schedule with their current ranks. Not a combination of that that only fits the pro-OSU narrative.
