All of a sudden people are proclaiming Russell Wilson the best QB

My understanding was that Chris Peterson turned down the job before it was offered to Sarkesian. At least it was widely rumored that SC was after him in the weeks preceeding the Sarkesian hire.

Mike Belotti was on the radio here and said Peterson told him once the UW was his dream job. I feel like the UW seriously traded up.

Me too. He's a very innovative coach. That 2007 Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma was the finest final 5 minutes of football I've ever seen. Three straight do or die trick plays that shocked Oklahoma.

But why take the UW job over the USC job? Unless it was money he was after. Would anyone put UW over Oregon, USC, UCLA, or Stanford?

Just to clarify why peterson was receptive to taking the Washington job, and not others has to do with the same reason he staid in Boise for so long. His son has to receive medical care. I believe its once a month he goes to Seattle for the treatment his son needs. He wants to stay in the Pacific Northwest. Washington was the perfect job for his sons medical treatment.

Best college game for me. Best pro game was the 39-38 comeback win by the 49ers over the Giants in the playoffs. That was thrilling since the Niners came from 24 down. best sporting event I've ever attended.

Kaepernick past 4 games.... 68 of 110 for 888 yards, 8.16 avg, 7 TD, 1 INT.

Wilson past 4 games..... 66 of 109 for 823 yards, 7.48 avg, 5 TD, 3 INT



Kaepernick has seemingly played better and better as December has worn on, hitting his stride just before the playoffs. What should concern Seattle is that each of the past four games.... Wilson has looked progressively worse. Not the kind of think you want to see in December entering the playoffs.

For that reason, I think the Rams game is HUGE for them to get things back on track. Otherwise they are entering the playoffs on shaky ground.

Yeah, Peyton would have won it regardless, but there was some serious chatter about Wilson going into the fourth quarter of the season.
