I was nervous as hell heading into that series. A lot of people were underestimating the Yankees.

I was just hoping to not get swept-especially after Girardi gave away game 2. Running all the way to game 7 of the ALCS was completely unexpected-which always makes it more fun-especially as a Yankee fan. Not too many years do they have those lower expectations.

I think Cleveland is a tougher out than people think. They've never been pushed all year and they have 4 starters with 200 K's. They're better built for the playoffs than the regular season.
Considering how many more Sox than Houston fans there are it's possible they set the Sox odds lower so they don't take a beating if they do win.

I'm not stating anything about cle other than according to the oddsmakers they are the 4th best team left in the AL and thus according to the oddsmakers that's an easier road to the WS from a betting perspective than the Yanks or Red Sox have. Also that Hou has HFA in this round and the Yanks don't.

Word. 2016 was a blast because I didn't think the Indians had any business winning a single series, let alone going to game 7 of the WS.

Last year, there were expectations, and those suck.
