Honestly, I'm never confident when it comes to MLB playoffs. Anything can happen in these series.

Yeah, it's not just against the Yankees with Price, it's pretty much any big game - the fact that it's a BIG GAME vs the Yankees, in a Red Sox uni should have him in his locker, rocking back and forth in the fetal position, sucking his thumb the day of his start.

Then they've got Sale, who's a brittle bitch and is gassed.

You never know, though. Maybe they'll sweep the Yanks.

I feel like it all hinges on Chris Sale for the Sox. If he comes out looking the way he did down the stretch, they will be in trouble. But it’s basically always a coin flip when these two 2 play. Two 100 win teams going at it? Should be a lot of fun.

I'm not overconfident at all lol.

I'm stating the obvious that even you as a die hard Red Sox fan can admit.

If they lose game 1, they're in big trouble because David Price usually fold like a cheap tent as a starter in the playoffs and vs the Yanks in general.

Doubt Sox fans are going to feel great IF they lose game 1

Yeah, I think this series can be a slugfest so I don't know if Sale is that much of a deciding factor. If he's dominant, huge advantage Sox. If not, would I be shocked if the Sox won 9-7 on a day he sucks?
