@nynasty we're all here buddy
Yeah, I think this series can be a slugfest so I don't know if Sale is that much of a deciding factor. If he's dominant, huge advantage Sox. If not, would I be shocked if the Sox won 9-7 on a day he sucks?
Not at all
Whether it's game 1 or game 2, just have to get one of them.
Yanks haven't lost a home playoff game since the 2015 WC.
Love ya, Nasty, but that is a weak stat. They played one home game in 2015(and lost). They didn’t make the playoffs in 2016. Why not just say they didn’t lose a home playoff game last year?

Don't disrespect nasty
You're talking about a guy that posted "on this date in 1978" standings for two weeks in August.
Nasty is like the home ballpark statistician that has to come up with a "fun" stat for every batter on the team, even the sucky ones.

Means 3 of those games are in BostonKnow what's funny? Yankees didn't catch the Red Sox like they did in '78.
And yet here we are, both teams 3 wins away from the ALCS.
Your 108 wins mean exactly squat right now.
Ok, they've won 6 consecutive home playoff games. Happy?
Point is, HFA in new Yankee stadium is now rivaling what it used to be in the old days.

Aroldis Chapman’s ERA against the Sox?

Agreed. These teams always beat the hell out of each other. I’m guessing it goes the full 5 games. The Yankees’ bullpen is a big advantage(at least on paper). They are really built well for the sprint. I just feel like Booney will screw it up somehow. Should be a crazy week.
