Whether it's game 1 or game 2, just have to get one of them.

Yanks haven't lost a home playoff game since the 2015 WC.

Yeah, I think this series can be a slugfest so I don't know if Sale is that much of a deciding factor. If he's dominant, huge advantage Sox. If not, would I be shocked if the Sox won 9-7 on a day he sucks?

Agreed. These teams always beat the hell out of each other. I’m guessing it goes the full 5 games. The Yankees’ bullpen is a big advantage(at least on paper). They are really built well for the sprint. I just feel like Booney will screw it up somehow. Should be a crazy week.

Don't know if I should root for Hitler or Darth Vader

Hmmmmmmm
Well, Vader started as a good guy and ended as a good guy so I think the answer is pretty clear.

Love ya, Nasty, but that is a weak stat. They played one home game in 2015(and lost). They didn’t make the playoffs in 2016. Why not just say they didn’t lose a home playoff game last year?

Chris Sale. lolz.

I couldn't help but laugh when they took him out in the 4th against the Tribe a couple weeks ago. He'd just given up a game tying dinger, and was about to implode in typical fashion against the Indians, but he bounded into the dugout all proud of himself, smiling and giving high fives like, "hey, guys! they didn't ass r*pe me again!"

You're talking about a guy that posted "on this date in 1978" standings for two weeks in August.

Nasty is like the home ballpark statistician that has to come up with a "fun" stat for every batter on the team, even the sucky ones.

Ok, they've won 6 consecutive home playoff games. Happy?

Point is, HFA in new Yankee stadium is now rivaling what it used to be in the old days.

Know what's funny? Yankees didn't catch the Red Sox like they did in '78.

And yet here we are, both teams 3 wins away from the ALCS.

Your 108 wins mean exactly squat right now.

Especially since 53 of those wins came against the Orioles.

Was thinking last night how players can make a manager look so good or so bad

If Betances gets bombed in the 5th yesterday, Boone gets bashed today, instead he's god for a day

Or he pulls Andujar, one of the teams best hitters in a 2-0 game, Hecheverria makes a sick play, Genius

Such a fine line between genius or dipshit
