Thinking the Yankees performance/blunders tonight got Boone off the hook.

He should get a permanent ban from Yankee Stadium. Even without face recognition technology, you could recognize his stupid face easy enough.
every mlb stadium.
Yanks trying to do what the Mets did with the Dodgers.
Not allowing LA to win it and celebrate it in their houses.
LA is gonna have to win the WS title at Dodger stadium...as they did with the NL pennant.
looked like little leaguers in that error filled inning. lack of basic skills usage cost them the game.

Dodgers put a clinic on the Yankees in terms of fielding and defense.
The Dodgers played A+ defense even in tactical decision making mental defense all series long.
The Yankees played D level and made bonehead decision even if they did not show up as actual errors.

They cannot blame the manager for bad defense and bad defensive decisions.
The blunders of Judge and Cole in the 5th inning would be awful in a little league game.

Agree. For game 5 there's one stat that stands out as the difference...errors: Dodgers 0 Yankees 3 (and all in that 5th inning). They commit just 1 less error and both teams are likely headed back to LA today.

I know they fucked up ( mental error) but on the Mookie grounder to Rizzo, is that ruled an error?

It's LA so I wonder, was this really because of the World Series or because it was Wednesday.

LA erupts into chaos following Dodgers’ World Series victory as ‘hostile’ mob burns bus, looters raid Nike store

What's scary is the Dodgers can go FA shopping since Ohtani deferred his salary.

They don't even need to do that...they just need to keep their pitching staff healthy next year.

I know.....

Just saying they could.....if they wanted to.

Interestingly, Juan Soto has said that he will be "open to all 30 teams" in his FA and there's already been a rumor that the Dodgers may have interest.

No idea how much truth there is to it...the Dodgers are getting into Lakers territory with folks saying their interested in damn near every player who hits FA. lol

Soto would have to defer some money (not as much as Ohtani) though.....at least I think he would.

It's the same playbook as Judge, pretend to listen to other teams, drive up the price, sign with the Yankees

Agree. That's pretty much how I expect it to play out. I'd be shocked to see him pull a KD. He'll likely want to re-sign with the Yankees and hope the Dodgers make it back so he can get revenge.
