If Bama is paying players can they get the same punishment as TAMU?
Nice post, troll much?

Once USC was made aware of certain allegations against Bush while Bush still played for USC, the NCAA said this of USC's compliance:
USC’s Compliance Department failed to check the incomplete registration form for Reggie Bush’s vehicle.
USC’s Compliance Department and former head football coach, Pete Carroll, failed to check the living arrangements for Bush’s family in San Diego.
Bama should be far more scared than a normal program.
Even though Bama is off probation, they have to deal with the "repeat offender" rule.
They are subject to trigger laws until 2014 that usually result in full on investigations.
These allegations took place in that window.
The most damning date is the 2011 allegations. That one could be the killer.
So, the NCAA bylaws usually trigger a full investigation of anyone in the "repeat offender" window.
Which means it could be a full anal cavity search for any little thing.
Every school has little things. Now, Bama has to go scrub itself clean in every nook and cranny.
Because even a minor violation could trigger HUGE SANCTIONS thanks the "repeat offender" mandatory punishment rules.
............
Saban to the NFL??
Alabama didn't do anything and has nothing to be worried about. It's about a player getting money from an agent during his last year.
Is it that hard to follow?

Please read the article before posting as you would find out yes there are bank account numbers: They have text messages from Fluker with his bank account he just set up at Wells Fargo to get $5000 sent to him:
Phone number tied to Davis (accompanied by a screen shot of a $5,000 deposit into Davis' bank account): "Hodge sent u this"
Phone number tied to Fluker: "What this bro?"
Phone number tied to Davis: "He sent u 5k today."
Phone number tied to Fluker: "To where"
Phone number tied to Davis: "My Wells Fargo acct. do you have a acct with them?"
Phone number tied to Fluker: "I don't"
Phone number tied to Davis: "Who all u bank with?"
Phone number tied to Fluker: "Regions. And compass"
On Dec. 28, 2012, Davis' phone had another round of text exchanges with the number tied to Fluker. They included:
Phone number tied to Fluker: "Hey I open a account at well Fargo"
Phone number tied to Davis: "Thanks! You just made it easier. Want me to transfer the 5?"
Phone number tied to Fluker: "Call me"
The number associated with Fluker then texted Davis a Wells Fargo bank account number. The text exchange concluded:
When you have a repeat offender status. This could be considered lack of institutional control like Stampede stated. That is a direct tie to Alabama. Not just Fluker.

LOIC is a big deal, but I have a hard time believing that will happen under Saban's watch. He has too much talent and is a tight ass when it comes to this kind of stuff. It's been shown too much in the past that has 0 tolerance and will sit a player without thought if there is even a hint of concern.
This is the guy who sat a 1st round offensive lineman right before a BCS bowl game remember.
If Saban knew, Fluker would have been kicked off the team and/or made to pay restitution for anything received to become eligible again.
in a nutshell that's what it is. that's why most of the usc fan base thinks they were hosed without proof. maybe they could have gotten a lesser punishment..they had a very reasonable appeal...was denied basically just because. mike garrett the AD at the time sued and won for defamation of character. there was some rumblings of school taking the NCAA to court at one point. but when the new AD came on said he wouldn't pursue it.
fast forward to today.. like I said I don't think saying school/ compliance office didn't know will work...but might be hard to say what school could have done to prevent.
Unfortunately it is not just Saban but the entire AD. While I agree that he would most likely know everything that is going on around him.
