Luckily for once I was medical expert. Dick on tv and everyone online kept saying groin. I thought it looked more hammy. Reporting it was tight hammy.

Not out of the woods but that is much better than groin. Could be good in a few days. And definitely can be good by WC round, so rest him as long as needed.

The fact he wanted to stay in the game even after the swing told me probably not his groin.

Kwan and Gimenez really have played well the last 4-6 weeks- and are getting closer to last years numbers in some regards- def. wont get there- especially for Gimenez- but it seems both have made the adjustment.

Gimenez in particular has been hot of late.

Guardians decided to play well over the weekend to keep the AL WC race pure chaos and now they have completely phoned it in.

Gonna lose to 1-15 Grienke.

Need those bastards to win a game so we dont clinch on a off day. No chance they beat Rodriquez tomorrow.

There is a non-zero chance that the Twins signed Carlos Correa to one of the worst 5 free agent deals of the last 20 years

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are in the MWL finals and lead the series. Kala'i Rosario of the Kernels was named MWL MVP.

Tigers have Javy Baez in this division alone
hmmm...Baez is 60M less- Correa is just in his first year and has been hurt and pretty bad. He could bounce back but it looks rough right now. Especially if any of those long term issues arise for Correa that scared other teams.

Correa has played a lot of games though, probably should have rested more.

Baez legit hurts a team by playing so anything he makes is bad. Or off the top of my head Anthony Rendon as another horrendous recent deal.

I'd much rather have Correa.

With that said Baez could bounce back some...I guarantee that fucker wouldn't have a 265 OBP if it was a mutual option

One interesting thing for the Twins that while yes they do play in the central and benefit a bit from that schedule. They are probably better than the record and line up as more of a playoff team.

7th in the AL in runs scored. 4th in runs allowed. 6th in run differential

If in the NL T 5th in runs scored. 2 in runs allowed. 3rd in run differential

We have also held our own against every AL team that isnt Tampa(they owned us in the 6 head to head).

Get healthy for playoffs and we got a shot to win some games for once. Competitively we do match up even with the shitty division helping to make it so we get in with a underperforming record.

Guardians win, can't make this shit up. So did Detroit. Looks like we can pop the corks after a game after all.

I don't understand how you go from 31 home runs at 28 to 7 at 30. Dude has taken the money and ran

It really is bizarre.

Cause he always swung at crazy shit. Obviously the longer the book is out the more often he will get pure trash pitches so he probably gets even more now. But that cant be the only reason.

Hes Christian Vazquez at the plate. Youve gotta have more dignity than that.

Once I saw Skubal going for Tigers I actually wanted Guardians to lose.

Ultimately we can still clinch on the field tonight in front of the fans. But the technical clinch likely to come mid game when the Orioles steam roll them for revenge tonight.
