well- looks like Giolito was a waste of salary. Probably the death knell. Lets see if the rookies have more balls than this loser veteran who is a free agent and trying to get paid in a few months and chokes his balls off in a pennant race.

Getting Gio(and even the two bullpen guys) was truly a could be excellent, could be massive regret type of move.

One one hand its just a monthly salary even if you are cheap. Hes overall a quality pitcher. You all were in decent need of a veteran body. And hes been good against Twins(also assuming thats why they sent him out there then).

But on other hand. He doesnt have any sort of big game track record. He was a clear nightmare with the Angels. And you are basically tossing a guy that is brand new to the team out of nowhere in for the biggest game of year.

Dont think it was a awful move, but it was definitely one where I think they thought they were a lot sneakier then they were doing it.

Bibee made a deal with the devil after giving up two early runs. Hes giving up rocket after rocket that keeps finding gloves.

Now Guards get a bloop and blast to tie it. Twins are literally cursed. Every time they get to 6 games over .500 everything works against them. Bibee is throwing more meatballs than Giolito was.

What the fuck is the point of replay if they just keep bad calls to stand??

That Polanco ball was blatantly gone. It doesnt richochet like that unless it hits a rail. Bibee getting luck from all angels now.

Lee and Jenkins dont stop hitting in the minors either

Sucking the last couple years got us a couple franchise players.

Fill in the pitching gaps in off season and this team is built for like a half decade minimum. Will just need experience to hopefully help compete against the big budgets in other divisions.

Is this why the Guardians young pitchers have ERAs that dont line up with their FIP??

They give up rocket after rocket that either directly finds leather or an insane D play saves their ass??

Guardians bullpen might be the best in the game right now. Clase, Stephen, Hentges, Morgan, De Los Santos, Moore, Lopez.

Doesn't look like Bieber or McKenzie will be back.- and I was hoping Naylor would be back for this series- but obviously not here.
It's just basic laws of the internet that when you post something like this about your bullpen they will immediately start getting blasted.

Yeah, I seriously do not understand how they didn't call that a homerun. Absolutely insane.

119.5 mph.

Both foot fracturing shots this year, he got the out. Which is almost as crazy as the Tigers luck with pitchers health.

Kirilloff back, Gallo to the IL (Left foot contusion).
Good win tonight. Lewis came through in a big situation. Correa hit a long homer (solo).
Keuchel struck out 6, walked 2 and gave up 3 hits (2 runs).

That's the bozos that signed him trying to save face as well. If he has one more AB this year, it means something truly is wrong with the brains of Falvey and Lavine.

Hell, he might be done in the majors period after that bullshit season. I would say that he should go play in Japan, but they throw a lot of breaking pitches that he won't ever be able to hit.

To be fair, this time in the year that was actually the right thing to do.

Gallo is a good clubhouse guy, he did at least help us in April when most of the team sucked ass and it doesnt hurt us to IL him.

No need to DFA someone this late(you can aruge should have before) because they are not post season eligible and in Gallos case no team would even pick him up for the last 20 games. So this lets him stay and support the team hes been with all year.

And if god forbid(hopefully not) there are more injuries then we have someone who can defensively back up two pretty key positions.

I just found the move really funny because they went with a foot contusion. When he literally pinch ran in a key spot as the go ahead run on Tuesday in Cleveland haha
