Twins bullpen is so bad and I dont see any way we win a waiver claim for Moore or Lopez. Too many NL WC teams that will want them that have priority.

On the plus side, that 3 base runner inning had Ramirez bat. So we have a 1 run lead and dont have to face him I guess.

Moore just got tattooed with Harper’s 300th HR. They were up 7-6. Schwarber was on. 8-7 Phil’s bottom of the 9th.

Then allow the tying on by having Duran throw a 2-2 breaking ball that goes fucking behind Naylor. No idea wtf Naylor was doing if he actually thought he got hit or if he ran cause he swung but that was insane.

They tied it. Dick Bremer is bitching saying we got screwed cause Naylor swung(he did) but hes got literal dementia and is forgetting that Naylor would have ran to 1B on the drop third strike. Hes still bitching about it in the bottom of the inning.

I guess I dont blame the Twins for not going for it since the rest of the division sold- but this Cleveland lineup is a joke- Xavion Curry is a long reliever- Williams got hurt and pitched 1 inning- and the Guards just took this series after going down 1-0 with Lopez and Gray for GAmes 2 and 3.

Twins are busted. the Central really does suck this year

Joey Gallo up, hes been awful. But this isnt a spot where you can productively move runners, so simple contact isnt a priority. The Gallo homer or walk special is fine. He brings in JORDAN LUPLOW to pinch hit vs a RIGHTY. Fucking batshit. Luplow is maybe the worst hitter the game of baseball has ever seen vs righties.

So why is Gallo even on the team if youre gonna do something that bonkers? It gets better...Luplow Ks. Ok stay with me....

Bottom 7 Luplow bats again vs a righty. It seems Michael A Taylor is getting a full day off. Luplow out again.

PLOT TWIST. Taylor comes in for Luplow to play defense in Top 8. So rocco legit let Luplow bat then used taylor after it. HAHAHA.

that is brutal- especially considering they have usually been pretty decent. The Tori Hunter/Joe Mauer/Justin Morneau days ended up being a huge disappointment. I hated Tori Hunter back then.

We always do that. TBH its not a move I am terribly gonna bitch at because its become the norm.

Gray isnt good in the 6th and 7th innings overall. But the Twins issue is they dont look at games invidually. We almost blew the game in Philly with the pen(umps helped us). Gray nearly had an immaculate 6th inning, hadnt allowed a hit since the 2nd inning and had 80 pitches. Pulled after 6.

His last two starts they let him go 7.

Thing with Gray is longer he goes his control kind of inexplicably goes haywire. Like todays 7th inning when he walked the leadoff then nearly killed laureano in the head. But at the same time he doesnt get squared up often. Like the if he throws strikes its light contact.

He should have been allowed to start the 8th vs the bottom of the order and see what happens. But pulling him was what they always do so I was less mad about that compared to some of the other moves.
