Not if he loses to OSU.
He'd need to beat the Buckeyes, Wisconsin, and (probably) Clemson....assuming they are ranked #2 and Clemson #3.
If he loses to OSU, even a win in the Big Penis Bowl won't be enough to be coach of the year.

Saw an interview after the Lions game. Stafford said that his first half performance was so bad that he feels bad about telling "sluglayer" (sic) to buy tickets to the MVP ceremonies this winter.

First odds posted for the Ohio State Bowl this Saturday. UM is a 7 point underdog.

OSU is considering asking Wolverine fans attending the game in Columbus to remove their shoes when entering the stadium. They say the urine smell emanating from their shoes is distracting to both players and other fans.

Definitely some chinks in the OSU armor were revealed Saturday, especially their offense. MSU's defense is terrible -- no pass rush and very young DBs -- yet the Buckeyes only score 17.

Anyhoo, this Saturday will be the only week all year that I root for Ol' Blue. My disdain for UoM and (many of) their fans is still exceeded by my hatred of Urban Meyer and all things Ohio State.

Anyhoo, this Saturday will be the only week all year that I root for Ol' Blue. My disdain for UoM and (many of) their fans is still exceeded by my hatred of Urban Meyer and all things Ohio State.

I prefer a Michigan victory...if for no other reason than I'd hate to see Penn State in the BIG10 Championship game. However....if O'Korn is needed to start at QB for the Wolverines or Speight is forced to play at 50%, UM's chances of winning in Columbus are pretty weak.

Doug, some good news for Wolverine fans. Harbaugh told Speight that he is starting Saturday. He told him to play until his arm falls off or he passes out from the pain. Then they will send O'Korn in for a couple of plays while they "fix him up". Jumping Jimmy explained to Speight that it is all about Jimbo's rep Michigan's reputation. Booger Boy's exact words were, "Give it your all. Win one for the Jimbo! Remember there is a ME in Meeeeeeechigan."
As Speight left the room, Jimmy Jam Boogers said, "I've got a NFL coaching job riding on this game....so if you want to keep that scholarship, suck it up."
