I don't believe, for one second, that he wasn't a steroid user. Talk about 'roid range. I don't see him getting into the Hall.

Yeah, there's no way. It's questionable whether he deserves it (from 1990-1999, he's ranked 10th in wRC+ at 145, and 17th at WAR with 40 wins). That standing amongst your peers might get you in as a hitter in any era but 1995-2005. Then you throw in how the writers hate him, the natural steroids accusations, and the fact that he was only good for those 10 seasons, and I find it hard to believe he will ever get in while he's alive

THE BIG GAME TODAY - STATES OF MICHIGAN AND OHIO CLASH!

Western Michigan [11-0] plays host to Toledo [9-2] in Kalamazoo.

WMU is looking to move closer to an undefeated season (Wolverines? NO), a MAC Championship game against Ohio Univ and - maybe - a trip to the Cotton Bowl on Jan 2. Of course, they want to retain their #1 ranking in the state, ahead of Michigan and EMU.

Speaking of EMU, after their victory over Central Michigan, voters might have a tough decision to make for that #2 spot behind WMU....if UM is clobbered by Ohio State.

The OTHER GAME is Saturday. Some battle of football players that are not from Michigan, playing a team of football players not from Ohio. A UM loss may send Jimbo to LA.

Didn't Cleveland win the AL Championship? I think the Tigers might have received one of the participation awards. Aren't the Cavaliers NBA Champions? I don't think the Pistons even finished their season...went fishing early.
All in all, that was a pretty stupid comment doug. Being drunk is not an excuse, neither is being a stupid blowhard...I hope you can account for your dumb comment in some way.

Hopefully Michigan can win the game Saturday. But if Speight does not start...OSU better play one of their worst games of the season, if the Wolverines hope to have a chance.
