D Back and ranger fans are GAF....
Francona. Has lost control of club house. Indians remember that they are the indians. Can they stop the spiraling???
I suppose this year would be a good one to give it to a reliever. 0.55 ERA is damn impressive, much more so than any stats the contending starters have posted.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Andrew Millers season is just as impressive as Britton's.I suppose this year would be a good one to give it to a reliever. 0.55 ERA is damn impressive, much more so than any stats the contending starters have posted.
It is nice they're waving the white flag and accepting the 3 seed. The Tigers have shown they can only beat the Indians JV squad this year. You should be thanking us, we have kept you in the WC hunt, these last two games.
not much of a choice when your top 3 starters cant pitch. It is nice they're waving the white flag and accepting the 3 seed.
watching Miller on a consistent basis is a lot of fun. That back foot slider is the closest to Randy Johnson's that I have seen.Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Andrew Millers season is just as impressive as Britton's.
Not that I think either should win or anything.

Been dealt a shitty hand when it comes to the rotation for sure.not much of a choice when your top 3 starters cant pitch.
Yep.Much like Chris Sale's as well.
i dunno......i think you have to nit-pick at that poiint- and Verlander- besides the hangover game- was just awful against the Indians this year when he could have made a real difference. So here's a thought ... if Justin Verlander throws blanks against the Braves on Sunday and wins the ERA title to go with his strikeout title, is he the front-runner among starters for Cy Young? His WHIP is almost identical to Porcello's (1.001 vs. 0.991), so all Porcello will have on him is wins. Given that Porcello has gotten about 75 more runs of offensive support this season than JV, I would think you throw out the wins.
I think that difference in WHIP is bigger than it seems. So here's a thought ... if Justin Verlander throws blanks against the Braves on Sunday and wins the ERA title to go with his strikeout title, is he the front-runner among starters for Cy Young? now that would be fun. Indians need a lefty in the rotation.....Kluber, Miller, Carrasco, Salazar, Tomlin, Bauer, Clevinger, etc......????Yep.
Had he stayed a closer, that'd be three brutal lefties in the AL.
I'm waiting for Miller to go back to starting tbh. Not this year, but maybe next. He could be dominant for 180 innings instead of 80.
John Smoltz was talking about it early in the year when he was still with the Yankees.now that would be fun. Indians need a lefty in the rotation.....Kluber, Miller, Carrasco, Salazar, Tomlin, Bauer, Clevinger, etc......????
actually- Tribe justm ight need him in the bullpen---- but then you see all the injuries starting pitchers get...
i dunno- its an interesting thought.
