ah doug....you just said Zimmermann winning was a sure thing. Tigers, and Zimmermann lost. In fact, your record on sure things is pretty bad. Kansas City Royals losing and Wolverines winning comes to mind. And all those "sure" wins for Verlander that never happened.......

I'm not worried that KC won't find a way to win again. But I am worried that several other teams have caught up with them and surpassed them. The White Sox are playing ball almost exactly like the 2014 Royals, and the central is dangerous every team except Minnesota. Then around the Majors the Cubs and Nats and Mets are probably better than KC this year. Even if we find a way to win 90 games again we will probably be in trouble in the postseason this time around.

I have viewed Cuthbert as a shorthand platoon guy the last couple of years, but I am intrigued by his power surge so far in Omaha. He's only 23 and has raw power, would be nice to see him break through after all of this time. If Morales reverts to his 2014 form, the Royals might not have much choice but to DH Cuthbert.

I still don't think the Sox are that good. I can't really talk since my team sucks ass and is 0-4 vs them but I see a pretty large regression coming.

Sale is a stud. The rest of those pitchers are meh and the lineup isn't really what you'd have if you built a consistent scoring lineup.

Who the fuck knows though, I didn't think the twins would be borderline special Ed this year either.
