Brantley begins his minor league rehab in Columbus tomorrow.

Indians, despite having an absolute garbage crap shit pile outfield, have been scoring almost 5 runs per game, but it'll be nice to get Dr Smooth back.

I wouldn't say hate, more like ball busting. One of those guys says some of the stupidest shit, so you have to throw it back it at him. The rest of you guys are cool.

I can understand that. I like some competitive banter or gamesmanship , but some of these guys are overly obsessed with the Tigers doing bad ... that's kinda weird.

There is a lot of hate for the Tigers ... can't quite understand why. Is it because of a couple of Tiger trolls?
Mostly mocking Vice (who probably is still reading this thread as evidenced by his numerous alt attempts) I don't really mind the Tigers at all in particular.

Yeah, I get it ... the dude was off the hook. I love my Tigers, I would assume that everyone loves their team. It's even kinda fun to hate the other team, but you can hate a sports team and still be respectful (if you have class).

Well, doug is pretty benign, and his shtick is kind of funny. I would be very against doug getting the boot. Tubbs on the other hand was an angry douche. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, he was like doug with a tiny penis and raging coke habit.

I stand by my comments from last year.

I'll be happy if he ever goes 200 innings with an ERA below 4 again in his career.

Kind of sad really. After the 2013 they were still talking Verlander as a future HOFer. Even after the 'down' 2014 season, a lot of people saw it as only a slight down turn to a more mediocre age 30 career. That 2014 season might be all anyone can hope for in 2016. Stay healthy, eat innings, and hopefully give the team a chance to win as many games as he loses.

Steamer predicts 12/10 [w/l] with a 3.74 ERA over 190 innings. I would take that in a second. Actually, if Sanchez and Verlander both start 25+ games...the Tigers should hold a parade at seasons end for those two and the medical staff and whatever company makes duct tape.

Yes. Every one knows the second start of the season is the most important start of the year

Doug...have you decided on an excuse for today's loss? Or were the Pirates just too much for Verlander.

Meh. Pirates were swinging right from the first pitch..good hitting ball club.Verlander had them at. 0-1. 0-2. 1-2. All game. He couldn't get that out pitch working today. Not like royals are going to start a win streak .....that starting pitching of the royals is worse.

Verlander. Plus 200 innings.. 20 wins. 3.30 ERA. I can see it. Don't forget. He gets to fave royals and the rest of the central..pad his win totals

Doug, I know you will have some babble to counter this....but you are aware that David Price has an ERA last year of 2.45 and he won only 18 games. Perhaps you could "see" Verlander winning 16-17 games this year???? Might make you sound a little more sane.
