Uribe is a 37 yr old... Maybin is in his baseball prime. Its not outside of the realm of likelihood that he could have a career year.. Uribe on the other hand likely won't.
Are you aware that this is homer talk?

I would be willing to say that Maybin will have a better season at the plate than Uribe... I am pretty certain of that.
Really? You expecting Uribe to perform well this year? LOL That would be some homer shit. Are you aware that this is homer talk?

Expect your 37 yr old 3rd base to stay on the field... LOL.Before I decide whether I think Uribe will perform well this year, I'd like to know your definition of "well."
Over the last three seasons, he's averaged 118 games per with an OPS+ of 114. That's above average. Last year, he played 119 games with an OPS+ of 105. That's also above average.
I do not think expecting 100+ games out of him with a roughly league average bat is unreasonable. Why do you feel that is "homer shit?"
One is 28... one is 37... I am putting my money on the 28 yr old.Maybin vs Uribe 2013-2015
CM - 250 GP - .250/.310/.349/.659/87
JU - 354 GP - .281/.329/.432/.761/114

i wouldn't put money on him playing 100 games... that is all. 3rd base isn't exactly the easiest place to play... he isn't a dh.He was on the field for 119 games last year, 103 the year before and 132 the year before that.
You think him being 37 this year makes me a homer for thinking it's reasonable to expect 100+ games out of him?
Indians will be lucky to get 100 games and a .230/.280/.300 ops+of 80
If he hits 5 HR and has 40 RBI I would be surprised.
Like I said.. take away the 46 games in ATL last year and he was shit for the mets and dodgers...I'm trying to understand where you're coming from. Seriously.
Your opinion is that, despite performing the last three years at a significantly higher rate than you're projection for 2016, he's going to sharply decline for the sole reason that he's now 37 years old. Is that correct?
take away the 46 games in atl last year and Uribe was fecal.

lmao - take away 1/3 of the season and he sucked...
its just something for vice to do....he says 38 yr old Vmart will have a great year and 37 yr old Uribe will suck...why? one is on the tigers, the other on the Indians.
