What if we traded Maybin for Uribe?
Cleveland could use an outfielder....but does Detroit really need another utility infielder? Romine, Aviles...already there.

Need isn't really factoring in for me there.

Just curios as to how the change in scenery could alter the projections for the season.

One is 28... one is 37... I am putting my money on the 28 yr old.

So, your predictions that Uribe will perform significantly worse in 2016 than he did last year (or the two preceding), and that Maybin will do something he has literally never done in 9 MLB seasons is based entirely on Uribe being 37 and Maybin being 28.

Would you also put your money on Logan Morrison (28) to out perform Victor Martinez (37) in 2016?

Detroit's gone downhill without Rayburn, heck he hit .290 in the post season

Tigers razor sharp already. Miggy goes deep. Verlander pitches a 1 hitter. Razor sharp.

It's OK to 'get carried away' -- Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor has it all

CANNOT WAIT to watch Lindor again....

i remember watching a middle infield of Robbie Alomar and Omar Vizquel that was just amazing....I think Lindor is the most exciting player to play for the tribe since Omar- or maybe Sizemore...It should be a fun seson watching this guy...he just energizes the whole team

Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor traveled in elite circles in his first major league season. He hit .313 with an .835 OPS and 12 home runs, and finished second to Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa in the American League Rookie of the Year balloting.

...

Judging from the offseason company he kept, Lindor is intent on raising the bar in 2016.
Right now, the biggest questions revolve around Lindor’s ability to hold up over 162 games while handling increasingly greater responsibilities in the middle infield. He’ll also have to adjust as the scouting reports become more voluminous and opponents probe for potential weaknesses.

“I don’t think there’s a ton of concern about him," Francona said. “We think we know what he is as a player and a person. Does that guarantee he’s going to have the best April? No, nothing does. But we know he’s a good player -- and hopefully, he’s going to end up being a great player."

At the end of the day, what’s not to like about a switch-hitter with speed, power, a gold-plated glove, intelligence and poise?

“You don’t proclaim somebody a Hall of Famer after three months in the big leagues, but I don’t want to talk him down, either," Francona said. “We love him. I understand why people ask about him. Shoot, he’s fun to talk about."

Sanchez sent home? Mexico?

It's what I've come to learn and inadvertently acknowledge. If it's an extremely warm, humid, climate and below the Northern Gulf Coast beaches then it's Meh.he.co. it's on the interwebz, so, it's true in it's most accurate form.
