I played sports... Anyone that plays sports knows the more you play without the benefit of some time off will result in the accumulation of minor injuries that can become major.
you also just said Iglesias never completed a season.. which was wrong.. so...well, I am predicting you will be wrong, again
i guess they should mail their studies to the GM's of the teams in the MLB.. they don't seem to agree... and neither do their team doctors. You "played sports?!?" That's amazing. I had no idea. I'll defer to your anecdotal expertise over folks that have actually studied thousands of pitchers' careers.
If high inning counts don't effect players.. why is there the need to have 5 starters? Why not have the same guy starting every day?
You realize many of the guys at Prospectus have in fact been hired by FO's... The Astros come to mind.i guess they should mail their studies to the GM's of the teams in the MLB.. they don't seem to agree... and neither do their team doctors.

2013: 109 games
2014: Nada
2015: 120
...
he played 109 in 2013 because he was a 23 yr old prospect (#96 ranked in baseball). He didn't start the season in the MLB... which is why he didn't play.. it had nothing to do with injury... come on man... you are smarter than that.2013: 109 games

because they wouldn't have enough space on the 25 man for relief pitching... which would still be needed. The counterpoint to your ridiculous statement is if high inning counts are so detrimental to pitchers, why aren't teams going with seven, or ten man rotations?
lol.. this coming from a guy that just said Iglesias has never completed a season.. when he was the last out of the 2013 ALCS.. which means.. he literally played to the last out for the Tigers.
he started the year in the minors... so yeah.. he was sent down to the minors.. he was 23.He was sent down to the minors in '13.
Yeah, I probably should have contextualized that a bit better. He did originally have those shin splints prop up in that season, no?He was sent down to the minors in '13.

lol.. yes... he has... he was not injured in 2013... jesus fucking christ. he was still playing.. just in the minors.. your arguement was that he was injured.. he was not injured.Vice, this is why you are so ignorant...
120 - you know what that number is...the most games Jose has played in a season.
162 - that is how many games they play a season.
162-120= 42 games missed
Enrique Inglesis has NEVER COMPLETED a MLB season....
i think they were an issue before 2013.. but he never was on the DL in the minors.Yeah, I probably should have contextualized that a bit better. He did originally have those shin splints prop up in that season, no?
