I wouldn't be upset about having him in the Indians' farm, but I wouldn't be rubbing myself raw over him like my wind up toy is.

Fulmer in AA struck out more than a batter per inning, went 10-3 with a 2.24 ERA, was the Eastern League Pitcher of the Year for 2015, as well as the starter in the Eastern League All-Star Game. There are a boatload of reasons to be optimistic about him, I'm just thinking we'll see him crack the rotation in 2017, late 2016 at best, because he's never thrown more than 124 innings in a minor league season.

For shits and giggles, here's BP's latest projection for the AL Central.

Yeah.. just for shits and giggle.. you might want to notice that they have Detroit having a better team BA/OBP/SLG

Projections are cool... Pretty sure the Nationals were projected to win the WS last year and to have the greatest rotation every in the history of MLB.

There's obviously something amiss with they way their system projects the Royals' style of play. Either that, or the Royals have been lucky as fuck. If I remember correctly, they had similar projections for the Royals last year an 2014.
They are projections.. they are rarely correct... Look at who they project to win the divisions every year and see how many times they are right. A fucking psychic is better than they are.

"they didn't project the Tigers to win, so I'm going to act like a bitch and drip pee all over the place."

LOL.. I don't give a fuck about projections.. they projected the Tigers to make the WS every year for 3 years straight... how did that help anything?

Yep. SI and several others also predicted Cleveland to win the ALC last season. How'd that work out?

The ALC is such a crapshoot, these standings could be completely upside-down, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit. Though I do think the Twins will be the bottom-feeders.

Here's what BP has to say about Fulmer:

I wouldn't be upset about having him in the Indians' farm, but I wouldn't be rubbing myself raw over him like my wind up toy is.

It didn't work out so well. I guess we shouldn't talk about stat experts' AL Central projections on the AL Central Discussion thread. Mea culpa.

If they had the Tigers on top, you'd be posting it on every page of this thread; you don't give a fuck about them because they don't.
Actually I don't give a fuck because the Tigers spent the better part of the last decade projected to win a shit ton of games and didn't win a WS... I don't care about them winning the projections.. I want a WS win.

"Well, you predicted that last year. How did that turn out?"
