It's amazing that it's only a 4 run game. Feels like way more. Credit the Pen for keeping us in it, and credit Boch for yanking Peavy out of there before it got worse.

Would Pagan have caught either of those that Soler has caught tonight?

We have crunched some balls off Arrieta too. I feel like we should have more than a run.

This is why I believe it is at least the temporary end-of-the-road for PV. That was a QUICK hook.

That's probably how most teams felt about facing Cain between '07-ish to '12-ish...

Jon, love ya, but you are missing a LOT of the story as to why Rizzo was traded from the Pads to the Cubs...

Alright, what the fuck.

Turning it off now. Bye guys.
And just a few minutes ago I was thinking about how great the bullpen has been, minus that one hit by pitch in the 4th. Oh Kontos, you suddenly look very rusty.

Kontos has completely lost it. So weird, since he was absolute nailz last year.

I'm starting to sour on Gearrin too. I'd rather see him gone before Kontos.

And it looks like Clayton Richard is going to finish us off tonight. How poetic.

Yeah, he's definitely making me miss Romo right now. Gearrin's slider looked much better last year, and he was getting ground balls with the fastball. Maybe he's just in a funk, but his stuff doesn't look nearly as good as I remembered (SSS last year, I know).

Gearrin was awesome the first six appearances of 2016 but then have that one bad game against Arizona in late April. Even then, he put together another scoreless streak of 6 appearances after that. The last 6 appearances, however, have been very up and down. He's still got a decent WHIP but that ERA is too high for the amount of baserunners he allows.

Meh, it's one game. Don't be so quick to judge.

Hey 8-1 looks bad and we are all bummed the streak has stopped. But they got all the breaks and we got none. We hit the ball hard but they got caught. We had our worst SP going, and they had their best.

It's a new day, and a good one to start a new streak.

Go Giants!
