Despite the shitshowyness of that inning, listening to the boys joke about the base running made it enjoyable none the less...

I actually went back to watch this because of it...

Peavy needs to be dfa right now, mid game. Why we didn't give Lincecum a 1 year deal I don't know.

Peavy is an automatic loss who uses up the pen. I hope he retires after the game. He thinks he is a strike out pitcher and throws over the plate way too much.

Actually, I think he understands he can't live in the zone anymore but his stuff just isn't that good so guys aren't chasing and his control isn't pinpoint enough to shave. And when he has to come in the zone, he gets crushed.

It's pretty much Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, etc. again.

Yep. You see Peavy doing well against young teams (Marlins, D-Backs), but he's going to struggle versus veteran lineups.

Really though. There have been an incredible amount of defensive gems in the OF this year against us. And it started opening damn week in LA.
