I believe it, and at the same time I gotta place some fault on Seattle's FO for going into the season with Carson and Penny (both injury prone runningbacks) leading the way....

The irony about the Carson neck injury was that my client told me it was Carson's legs that were completely shredded.

To a certain extent I can't blame them for rolling with Carson and Penny. When Carson is on the field and healthy, he's a guy who has a career YPC average of 4.6 behind a shit offensive line. Penny on the other hand I think they were still holding out hope that he'd finally put it all together. As someone who loved the Penny selection at the time (boy I don't think I've ever been so wrong on a Seahawks draft pick), the coaching staff and front office probably thought that Penny's injuries were just an abberation and once he got healthy he'd be the player we thought he'd be.
