Game Thread: 49ers @ Seahawks, the lost season!

I get that we're in desperation mode but I'd rather us see what we have with Homer, Dallas and Penny than be giving AP carries.

Like Lynch a few years ago - people will think that scoring a TD from the 1 will make his 6 carries for 8 yards look better than they are.

Not sure what's worse, watching the Seahawks defense get picked apart by mediocre QBs or watching the Seahawks attempt to get a first down.

It's a good thing they wasted all of their TO's on a defensive stand that ended with them giving up 6 anyway so they have that excuse of why they won't score before the half.

At a minimum Dallas looks like a great kick returner and Homer is solid as a third down back IMO.

I honestly had a feeling the Seahawks would either turn the ball over or that Russ would take a sack and we'd run out of time to kick a FG.

The first roughing was legit the second was kinda silly, sure he landed on him but how can a defensive player avoid that once he’s tackling someone ? This isn’t the matrix

Yep, SF was positive that we'd send him up the middle - since that's all he can really do. Running him outside for the TD was more about SF not honoring their gaps than AP doing something special.

True, but it is the rule. It's not even a new rule at this point. Don't like the rule, but by the letter, it's a penalty.
