And why in the hell was Zeke starting games with a torn knee ligament? He partially tore the PCL in the Panther game in October. Gee maybe that is why the running game never got going again? This kind of stupidity loses playoff games. Pollard should have gotten the carries yesterday. This smells like Jerry telling the HC who to play.

Can they even move on from Zekes contract now?

This teams window is closing fast. I thought it was a mistake to make Dak and Zeke the two highest paid guys at their positions. Jerry won't cut Zeke this year, but it would be the right move. With Dak(big heart and good guy), if he couldn't get to one NFCCG with the supporting casts he has had, when exactly will he? He is going to take up a huge portion of the cap moving forward, and the team is going to have to start parting ways with players they would prefer to keep. Schultz, Gregory, Gallup, CWilson, CWilliams(thank God, but a starter), Dorance Armstrong, LVE, KNeal, Kearse, Kazee, Hooker, Anger, all FA's... Plus retaining aging and declining high paid guys like Zeke and TSmith...and the loss of one or both coordinators... the Cowboys have drafted really well but its hard to imagine they will be as talented as they were this season. Dak has to find a way to elevate his game to justify being paid like a top 5 QB

Not a Cowboys fan but the talent they have on that team overshadows all the other teams. IMO, Moore fumbled the season. The last play, up the middle QB?, Prescott has a great arm and 2 super wr a reliable TE several RBs that can explode out of the backfield on a screen, and he chose a QB run?, if he didn't and it was all Prescott I give him credit for trying to make something from a busted call but a run?. IDK, Moore needs to take some of the blame.

I think Kearse played himself into a contract we can't afford. Same with Schultz, Gregory and Anger. Possibly with Armstrong. Gallups injury may keep him here on a one year but I wouldn't count on it. If both the OC and DC go, it would be the right time to change HC if it's for a top candidate. My question would be, how much is Sean Payton worth? I would give up this year's #1 to get him but no more. I think Harbaugh would just take lots of money.

The fact that it was a called play is reason enough to fire McCarthy IMO. And what was that crap after the fake punt? All year long people have been asking if we were good enough to overcome poor clock management and penalties and undisciplined play. We weren't

Literally is likely by far the worst clock management coach in the league. It's week after week after week. HC needs to make those 4 or 5 big decisions a game to win, He makes the big mistake to lose or make winning tougher. Ignoring the obvious play at the end of the game which may go down as one of the dumbest play calls ever, I don't even understand the idea of that stupid set up after the fake punt. Why would you even try to get SF to waste a TO like he said? They were winning. They don't need their TOs they need the clock to run and instead we wasted the entire play clock on that stupid play when the clock was our biggest enemy. In what world does a HC see that as the smart play?

Finally watched the game. Even with the poor O-line play, Dak had plenty of time to win the game. They should not have run that second down play with 2:02 left. You had second and 11 three time outs. Why rush??? Stupid!!! Dak is a very good QB, but clutch is something he struggles with. Roger Dodger, he is not. He needs a top oline to be successful IMO. Connor and Biadaz have to go. You are not going any where with those two stiffs getting bull rushed. We have some football players who are not football smart. They do dumb things at the wrong times. Dumb players will get you beat. Jimmy was right. I have no idea where we go from here. I am just sick to my stomach about this team.
