14 penalties in a playoff game is simply unacceptable. Last play call was beyond idiotic. Instead if 2 Hail Marys, at least a chance for a big play or a penalty, you run a play that if it works to perfection, you still have to throw a Hail Mary.
We can clear $40 million in cap space with around 5 moves, so we can keep a lot of the FA's we have if we want them. The question is, do you want to come back with McCarthy and a new DC and possibly new OC or let McCarthy go and go im a totally different direction?

Yep. Coaches can dance around that all they want. Either you can’t coach or the guy you’re trying to coach is incapable of doing the job in which case he needs to go.

Nicely put. Players have to play and coaches have to coach. Any less one or the other has to go or both.

Squandered a loaded team. Penalties unacceptable. This team was at full strength. We got outschemed, outcoached and out played. Gregory has been more of a headache that he is worth. Over his tenure, his penalties and absences have overshadowed his stellar plays.

If I were in Jerry's shoes, I would fire McCarthy and hire Jim Harbaugh. Hire Zim to coach the defense when Quinn leaves. End the days of the team with more talent losing because they were outcoached or not ready to play

Will Jones fire Mccarthy and then make Quinn HC/DC? I absolutely would make this move. Was Quinn a bad HC in Atlanta? Not really. Any coach that could get the Falcons to the Superbowl cant be all that bad.

Zim would be near the top of my short list for hire if Quinn leaves Zimmer was a top DC for quite awhile. I was pisst when he left. But would he come back to Dallas? There could have been tension there

What a waste. The core is still solid but there were some contract year guys and the right combination of young, inexpensive guys. We were near 100% and squandered it.

Hopefully Jerry understands he's not getting many more cracks at this and brings in a real HC but I doubt it.

Dropped the sauce about a year ago DT.....had massive heart attack at 48. !00% blockage in my RCA in 2 places and had to have 2 stents. I am good to go now, I just choose to go without the booze these days.

You might be right, but let me ask you this, and I'll respect what you have to say...if the coaching staffs were flipped and Shanahan had been in charge of the Cowboys and McCarthy the Niners, do you think the outcome would have been the same? Because I personally think Dallas would have blown them out
