Very Sad situation, especially to have both pass away without Tatum showing remorse. Just to tell Daryl that he loves him as a brother and wish it hadn't happened. Jack's ego was going to prevent him from saying the word "sorry" but there was a way to get some closure out of the tragedy. Silence wasn't the answer.

And he didn't even have to say he was sorry for what he did, just sorry that it happened. Something like, "I'm sorry that happened. It was never my intent to paralyze another player in the NFL. We're all brothers once we step onto the field".

I think even a statement like that gets him into Canton.

Midnight I don't know if or not he had a HOFer career, but that's my biggest concession. I know it was a clean hit and I'm sure he didn't want to disable Stingley, but why not visit the guy in the hospital or just say sorry. Then he writes his They call me the Assassin book. I bump into someone by accident, I say "sorry". He wanted to keep that toughguy callous persona, not cool

We haven't had a solid QB since Gannon. I've downed everyone except Palmer and that was just blind hope he would find his old form going back to Cali.
