LMAO this comment shows me that you dont even know who Teven Jenkins is. Dude hasn't played more than 700 snaps in a season EVER. NO ONE is going to pay top money for him when he is also only an average ( 70 ) rated player. Blowing smoke is all you are doing.
im basing it on what ive read, a top tier guard in 2025 FA is not going to sign for 7-8m, he is going to get at least twice that.
here let me help you a little

Tier 1 ($11-$14 million/season)
Tier 2 ($7-$10 million/season)
Tier 3 ($5-$7 million/season)

this is for all IOL not just Guards.

Little different than mine but this is based of the 2024 salaries. Who have the Hawks signed in FA? Oh thats right the 1 to 2 million guys. How has that worked out for us? LMFAO!

We are always scraping the VERY bottom of the trash heap EVERY FUCKING YEAR. Lets get someone that has proven they can play at a "AVERAGE" level not someone that JS hopes can resurrect their career for peanuts.

17m per season for elgton jenkins, it will be three years old by the time FA hits.

21m per for chris lindstrom.

this is the bottom of what trey smith will get, he is the top free agent G. jenkins will get less than that but not a fraction of it like you believe.

I doubt his value would be that high. Why wouldn't that team just draft a RB in the 2nd round? You have 4 years of control, and RBs don't really need time to develop as compared to other positions. Open the box and go.
I wouldnt trade walker, but he is a special player that i dont think you can easily draft in round 2. we might get a 2nd for him from a team that thinks he would put them over the top.
didnt the niners give up two 2nds for mcaffrey?

I don't believe many people think Walker and McCaffrey are comparable talents.

Im not saying he is, we wouldnt get two 2nds for walker but we might get one.
Either way, i wouldnt trade him id get an OL that can block for him so he can maximize his talent.

They showed a stat during the game that walker doesnt normaly get back to the LoS before contact. Think about that for a minute.

Hmmm.... well, if it was my choice between have Walker for 1 final year of his deal or a 2nd round pick that could be used to get a similarly talented player for 4 years of control, it's not much of a choice. Hopefully there's a team out there that does offer us a 2 for him after this season, and we jump on it right away.

Well second contracts for RBs usually don't give bang for the buck so I get seeing what his trade value is, just not sure the market is good for a RB with a expiring contract.

Bradford sent to IR and Patrick O’Connell sign to replace him.

Guess we should see plenty of Christian Haynes now, hopes it works out because no other good options available for this season.

As they say, be careful what you wish for… I guess we’ll see what we have in him moving forward.

Interesting re-draft for first rounders. They have Byron Murphy dropping to number 27. They have us taking Laiatu Latu instead.

I’ll be honest, it seems like Murphy has been very quiet this year so far…

id still take murphy, he filled a huge need and his presence on the DL has been more than just stats. the games he missed our DL was noticeably worse by my eye.

Speaking of OL, remember when we drafted Dee Eskridge with 1 of our 3 total picks in the 2021 draft? Center Creed Humphrey went to Kansas City seven picks later... That dude has been a pro bowler 2 years so far... I'm just struggling w/ what Schneider was doing... None of our 2020 draft picks are on the team... Forsythe and Tre Brown are the only 2 left from 2021 and we draft Charbs with a 2nd round pick right after KW ran for over 1000 yards as a rookie... Looks like he's done much better with his 2022 and 2023 draft picks...

He wasnt playing enough at first. The first 6 games he played a TOTAL of 90 snaps ( 15 per game average ). The last 5 he has 182 snaps ( 36.4 per game average ). Also he has a 80% double team rate.

Just watched this video put out by Brian Nemhauser with ex Seahawks OL Ray Roberts and thought it was really informative about what is going on with the run game and touches on other things also. I highly recommend anyone concerned about the run game to watch this video it's a A+. Ray Roberts does one heck of a job breaking down where things are going wrong (and right) with the run game. Watch it and comment on it. They also dropped a nugget about a possible change on the OL.

watching O'Connell play hurts my soul. He was the QB i wanted the Hawks to grab in the later rounds as a back up and future prospect to be a starter. He looks pretty good for what he is. He still has some growing to do but not bad for a young kid.

Six round pick, rookie Sataoua Laumea beats out Christian Haynes this week for the starting job against the Jets.

O-line Shuffle: Seattle Seahawks rookie to start, make NFL debut

Christian Haynes is definitely not ready to start in the NFL. I think it’s obvious now.
Yup needs to hits the weights, study film and work on his game. Bradford getting hurt was a set back for the Seahawks because he was getting in sync with Olu on double teams and doing some good. Got to hope Sataoua is going to work out, 6th round rookie so a bit of a long shot.
