As for the Nets...

I think they are bar none the worst run franchise in the past 10 years, and the move to Brooklyn looks bad too, as that part of NJ is now pretty high off the hog.

They finally have a chance to put together a semblance of team. And that can be quick work in today's NBA

Numerous teams over the last few years but most recently the Rockets. Additionally, the Sixers had better picks and they didn’t have to take any money back at all.

And Caruso. This is what happens when a player is coveted.

Nah. Those picks are subjective.

6ers could wind up being better, but maybe not.

How do you get the best offer when you only talk to one team?

Dude, people been making offers for Bridges for months.

You actually believe they only talked to 1 team?

Knicks paid what others teams weren’t willing too.

This is a good deal for both.

And most importantly, the Nets get to bottom out with the potential lottery tickets in 2029 and 2031.

What are you talking about? The Sixers have 3 years left before Embiid falls off a cliff. You couldn’t be any more wrong especially because the Nets had to take back the corpse of Bogdanovic. The Sixers didn’t have to send any salary.

Think it's a great deal for both teams.

Knicks get to compete cheaply, and all that's all you need to do to draw fans in NYC, and Brooklyn gets a fresh start

Dont fucking dude me when you’re dug in and talking nonsense shit.
You actually believe they only talked to 1 team?
In the end? Yes. They got word from Bridges that he only wanted to go to one team and that’s who he was dealt to.
Knicks paid what others teams weren’t willing too.
False. Houston pays that. Philly pays that.
This is a good deal for both.
With all due respect…you have to be retarded to say this. The Nets got ran.
And most importantly, the Nets get to bottom out with the potential lottery tickets in 2029 and 2031.
This is nothing but Pollyanna wishful thinking shit that you came up with on the fly as others were pushing back on your ridiculous opinion. Are you ok? You’re deep in the weeds on this one.

The fresh start only matters if they clean house and get better decision makers in there.

I disagree with the notion that you should avoid trading with your rival when the two teams are moving in opposite directions.

Get the best possible trade package you can when you are a rebuilder. That is the only thing that matters.
That wasn’t the best package especially when you don’t get a young player in the deal

But who offered better?

Bridges been on the block for a long time. Most here (you too I think) said the Nets were dumb for not dealing him last year.
Yep.

Marks waited for some team to meet his demands....

They can still flip Bog....

Clearly, Marks envisions them tanking so they can get some good players in the next few drafts.

For what? If you want to argue they still have to get to the floor I’ll buy that. Nobody wanted Bogs at the deadline last year. Nobody wants a one way player that has lost a step and a half.

But they won’t bc they will trade those picks for a star once they are tired of losing for 3-4 years. Rinse and repeat. Banking on picks for 5-7 years in time to rebuild is crazy. This franchise is a joke

I don’t know how this becomes justification for getting run in another unrelated deal?
