As a Villanova fan, I find it quite ridiculous in terms of actually trying to win anything.

But for entertainment's sake, I love it.

I think Dolan likes the move, because it's cheaper in the long run.

The team can compete, and they don't have to worry about chemistry, but ... he doesn't have to really spend to try and build a contender.

Exactly. No one is hating on them dealing them they are talking about the epic level stupidity it was to turn down 4 firsts from Houston and instead taking them from NY

Hou gave them what they wanted anyway

The Knicks core likely going to be around and good in 2029. Only possible pick I can see being good for the nets is the 2031 pick

I just don’t agree with trading to your in state rival especially when they look at you as the little brother. I can imagine the shit nets are going to hear if the Knicks win a title with bridges

I disagree with the notion that you should avoid trading with your rival when the two teams are moving in opposite directions.

Get the best possible trade package you can when you are a rebuilder. That is the only thing that matters.

They didn’t get the best possible trade package though. A player that has done nothing outside of making all NBA defense said he wanted out and only the Knicks.

I agree on 2031. Brunson, Bridges, and OG aren’t that old for me to think they are going to be bad in 5 years

If Thibs keeps playing them 45 minutes a game, they might be bad by 2028.

Who offered better?
Numerous teams over the last few years but most recently the Rockets. Additionally, the Sixers had better picks and they didn’t have to take any money back at all.
For months we have been saying the Nets are delusional in what they have been asking for Bridges.
And Caruso. This is what happens when a player is coveted.

Bridges been on the block for a long time. Most here (you too I think) said the Nets were dumb for not dealing him last year.
