Unless they're packaging the return for something.

They should be selling but I suppose if they're going after, say, Chychrun they might as well do it now.

Could also be that the offers for Bertuzzi suck. At least two of the teams who could really use a guy like him are in Canada and apparently if he no longer works in the US his vax status could prevent him from playing road games in the US. Plus he's been injured and not great all season.

That was based off of what I read they weren’t going to sell along with the extensions given out.

As for Bertuzzi I forgot about that, yeah that kills his trade value.

Note: Let me add getting a first round pick for Hronek, I would do that deal every day.

Wow seems like a lot of teams missed out here!
Fuck.

I feel like we could have beat that. Maybe he preferred to go there.

I guess now we have to get Quick to Vegas, and have them bounce LA in the first round and pick 17th too.
If I'm Chychrun reading that return I'm pouring sugar in Armstrong's gas tank on my way out.

Took a year and a half, two trade deadlines and an entire offseason to wind up with THAT?! Fuckin bite me lol

^ so the only hope is it is to clear cap space for a bigger deal. If not they just trade away their second best bottom 6 player and better start selling off Dumoulin, Zucker and Heinen.

Yep Hextall is trying to fuck the Penguins.

So Blueger is a good defensive forward?

Not sure how the Knights scoring issue was addressed. But I guess if opponents can’t get setup on offensive zone that helps

Why does Dumoulin, Zucker, and Heinen sound like a law firm?

Down year for him but he is 100% a defensive/pk/faceoff specialist.

Yeah don’t ask for any goals from him.

Lol.. they probably would be better at winning you a court case than a hockey game right now.

Even funnier. I recently saw the guy the Penguins got back in return play, when the Ghost Pirates played the Gladiators.

Ghost Pirates vs Gladiators? Is that an “alternative” hockey league?

not that there's anything wrong with that seinfeld GIF by myLAB Box

I really liked Eyssimont. Energy guy and fun to watch.

WTF is Grier doing? Are we rebuilding or loading up to finish just outside the top 10 next year? i’d rsther he took the highest value piece for Timo and then moved everything else for picks and prospects.

Seems like he’s a bit directionless
