I am jealous of how the Caps are sellers and making the team younger and stockpiling picks to keep it going with AO for a few more years. Instead, we get this shitshow that Hextall keeps doing.

this year is +8, thankfully. 9 goals this year too matches a career best

That's the Canucks' 2nd round pick this season too. Two top 40 picks for a mid-20's d-man having a career season with only one more contract year left to a team that will probably be bad again next season.

Unless they're packaging the return for something.

They should be selling but I suppose if they're going after, say, Chychrun they might as well do it now.

Could also be that the offers for Bertuzzi suck. At least two of the teams who could really use a guy like him are in Canada and apparently if he no longer works in the US his vax status could prevent him from playing road games in the US. Plus he's been injured and not great all season.
